THE ROLE

Location: Madrid (Hybrid)

 

The Product & Project Coordinator takes a leading role for all kind of packaging and product related projects such as implementation of design changes, regulatory changes, factory relocation projects, new launches, and limited editions for all product categories of the GDF&E portfolio and ensures that projects get delivered on time and within budget. The role holder works in close cooperation with GDF&E internal (Consumer Marketing, S&OP, Regional Commercial Teams, Finance Operations, CLA…) and GDF&E external stakeholders (PCC, Product Development, Packaging Development, Print Development, Quality Management, Coding & Tracking…) to ensure projects get delivered on time and within budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead all kind of packaging and product related projects such as implementation of design changes, regulatory changes, factory relocation projects, new launches, and limited editions for all product categories of the GDF&E portfolio and ensure that projects get delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure artworks and T&T labels include all regulatory and brand related information and get approved in a timely manner
  • Ensure stakeholders are up to date on project progress at any given moment
  • Drive, own and manage internal documentation tools to assure optimal project handling with regard to given guidelines and timeframes
  • Ensure Product Data base gets updated on a regular base for the specific projects
  • Support the Senior Product & Project Coordinator with the preparation, moderation and follow ups of monthly Project Update Meetings
  • Review and evaluate own projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Share “lessons learned” in the team and support the Senior Product & Project Coordinator to integrate identified improvements in existing processes, tools and templates
  • Join the monthly budget alignment meetings with Finance Operations and ensure the budget file is up to date at any given moment for the specific projects
  • Strong global stakeholder engagement

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience to deliver new product into market
  • Self- driven, independent & able to navigate in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex priorities in a global, dynamic, high pressure, constantly changing business environment
  • Strong logical thinking, able to quickly comprehend complex circumstances
  • Empathetic with the ability to resolve conflicts (striving for win-win outcomes) and act independently through ambiguity
  • Take ownership to deliver and influence stakeholders to achieve results
  • Appropriately balances quality, time and cost
  • Proactive attitude, enthusiastic to make things happen and take action, driven by every day excellence, engagement, commitment and self-discipline. Challenge status-quo and driven for better solutions

  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Comfortable in using Microsoft Office: Excel & Power Point
  • Cross functional work experience (Logistics/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Marketing) will be beneficial
