The Global Category Manager Logistics is responsible for driving and implementing the logistics procurement strategy and standards across the globe and takes accountability for delivering targeted results in a global logistics category (ocean freight, road freight or warehousing). You have the ability to build and manage successful business partnerships, providing market insights and future expectations.
Using your strong influencing skills, you are able to drive change in optimization and carbon reduction initiatives. The role holder must be able to work independently, form strong relationships and have a strategic focus beyond category management and analysis. As part of this role there is a need for stakeholder management with various different departments and levels: Global Logistics, Finance, Factories, Supply Chain and external suppliers. The Global Category Manager Logistics is expected to balance between the delivery of transparent short-term results and strategic objectives.
