The Role:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management for the Secondary Logistic Operation in Ireland through close collaboration with 3PL which includes logistic execution of customer orders, returns and destruction handling and compliance reporting.
  • Ensures Track & Trace compliance for IE Market
  • Ensure tax stamps availability to meet relevant demand and are managed to optimize working capital and avoid any out of stocks.

Key accountabilities:

Logistics Operations:

 

  • Support the execution of local or centrally led logistic projects (e.g., outsourcing and supplier change over) together with the local responsible colleagues.
  • Complete monthly KPI reports in line with supply chain requirements and attend monthly KPI review meetings with key stakeholders
  • Ensure SAP orders transmission to 3PL WMS and 100% order fulfilment including trouble shooting with 3PL and IT
  • Support Logistics Manager with the day-to-day effectiveness of 3PL and review KPI’s on monthly basis
  • Responsible for solving consumer complaints (transport and physical returns) and logistics quality reporting to PLM.
  • Responsible for the stock management (inventories, returns, destructions, etc.) in warehouses and boxes/on-car storage locations of the Sales Force and ITP.

 

Compliance:

  • Ensure all relevant procedures are adhered to in line with internal Imperial Brands requirements and Irish Customs.
  • Implement and monitor stock measure controls on an on-going basis for internal Imperial Brands Group Control Matrix.
  • Complete monthly supply chain and security reporting documentation for Imperial Brands.
  • Complete quarterly report for Imperial Brands Security Forum.
  • Support the Logistics Manager with product destruction process is in-line with group standards.

 

Tax stamps:

  • Accountable for the Tax Stamps management process for Ireland and managing the relationship with Irish Revenue.
  • Ensure tax stamps availability to meet relevant demand and are managed to optimize working capital and avoid any out of stocks.
  • Accountable for monthly reconciliation of all tax stamps
  • Deliver all manufacturing needs are in line with working capital requirements for IE market.
  • Monitor EMCS (Excise Movement Control System) website
  • Manage both inbound and outbound movement of tax stamps within the Global Supply Chain through closely liaising with planning team and retrieving all unused/damaged stamps in a timely manner
  • Accountable for managing the local warehousing of tax stamps to ensure that sufficient quantities of relevant tax stamps are available at all times to meet production needs
  • Lead the annual meeting between key Irish stakeholders and Irish revenue to assess effectiveness of tax stamp processes
  • Closely work with Finance during Pricing events with regards to changing price of tax stamps

 

Track & Trace

  • Accountable for smooth running of T&T systems in IE through close partnership with 3PL & Central Coding & Tracking team.
  • Ensure full T&T compliance for IE market (including supporting IE Field Sales with Tobscan queries)
  • Lead T&T Task force calls for the IE market and main point of contact for Sales Reps & 3PL for troubleshooting of problems
  • Support Central Functions with T&T related projects (e.g., Tobscan functionality, new compliance reporting, Scan by Scan pilot) for UKI Cluster

Skills and experience required:

Essential

  • Previous experience in Logistics and supply chain management
  • Mid – Senior level management role
  • Excellent communication skills as well as proven collaboration and interpersonal leadership skills
  • Ability to challenge directives that impact financial and operational performance of the functional area
  • Understanding of the global business and the functionality interdependencies of other groups
  • Comfortable to manipulate data from various systems and working on excel
  • Comfortable using SAP

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge about local requirements on compliance, customs and regulations
  • Effective problem and conflict resolution skills and proven team focus
