The role

Your role will entail providing administrative support to field-based personnel, ensuring a smooth execution of day-to-day field / retail operation of New Product Development, price / product changes, trade interaction & rep supplies.

You will also be responsible for providing an accurate and efficient incoming / outgoing postal service for Imperial Brands - Head Office.

You will working with a number of people throughout the business including all field-based personnel and all ITUK internal departments, as well as external parties including trade customers, consumers, couriers and suppliers.

Principle accountabilities

Sales Team Support

  • Produce and maintain communications to the field sales teams including briefs, bulletins, product code lists & other queries/requests received.
  • Maintain account outlets including ensuring accuracy of estate data/Salesforce, including asset management as account dictates.
  • Understand and undertake additional responsibilities, in order to meet local business needs when applicable.
  • Provide effective distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Distribute, weigh, and frank outgoing mail, including machine usage and refill as

Customer Support

  • Complete all information required for new line forms/portals accurately & timely.
  • Manage price list send-out process at Manufacturers Price Increases (MPIs) / Budgets.
  • Answer all customer related queries and respond to general enquiries accurately received through trade websites, email and telephone service adhering to current legislation.
  • Pick, pack and send sales force materials as business dictates.

CRM Excellence

  • Working with UKR Business Manager, Master Data and sales teams ensuring outlet maintenance is accurate.
  • UAT for Salesforce changes, carried out specific to SMS team function.

Other

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with the sales teams and all internal and external customers.
  • Offer support to other sections of the team when required
  • Support the business on project related tasks when required

Key skills and experience required

Essential:

  • Have previous office administration experience
  • Be an effective and confident communicator
  • PC literate, and be confident in using excel
  • Have excellent administrative, email and telephone support skills
  • Previous customer service experience ideally in an office based role
  • An excellent team player with adaptable mindset
  • Must be proactive and look for opportunities to drive function/business forward in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and Team Leader.
  • Work autonomously with initiative, and a Pro-active mindset
  • Previous experience of working within an FMCG business would be desirable
