Reliable conduct with integrity is a top priority in all areas at Reemtsma and throughout Imperial Brands. We do not tolerate any violations of our Code of Conduct, other standards or applicable laws. If you have concerns or a specific suspicion that a violation has occurred, we want you to speak up. We want to foster a culture of openness and support those who raise their concerns - even if they turn out to be false. However, false concerns raised in bad faith may lead to disciplinary action.
With the "Speaking Up" service, our parent company Imperial Brands maintains a central possibility to provide information to the company and to subsequently remain in contact with the reporting office - anonymously if desired. This reporting office is located in the "Legal Governance" department at Group Legal of Imperial Brands and serves as an internal reporting office throughout our group of companies in accordance with Section 12 of the Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz). It will process incoming information, forward it to the responsible departments for remedial action and - if necessary - coordinate further measures.
In the case of the first two channels, it is possible to set up a secure mailbox for the report with an external operator. If desired, this can also be used for anonymous communication with the reporting office and, if necessary, for the anonymous transmission of further materials such as documents, photos or videos to the reporting office. Of course, all reports are treated confidentially in accordance with the provisions of the Whistleblower Protection Act and data protection law, and whistleblowers enjoy protection in accordance with the provisions of Sections 33 et seq. of the German Whistleblower Protection Act.
