The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chapter Lead - Scrum to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Digital Delivery, you will work closely with other scrum master’s from outsourcing partners to ensure teams collaborate effectively, adhere to agile practices, and continuously improve. Your role will be critical in guiding teams and the organization to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Lead and coach Agile teams in adopting Scrum methodologies.
  • Mentor and support scrum masters from outsourcing partners.
  • Help organize and run Digital portfolio governance, supporting the Digital NGP OPS manager with departmental initiatives.
  • Act as an ambassador for Agile practices, promoting awareness within the organization and among stakeholders.
  • Resolve backlog and team impediments with other teams to increase the effectiveness of the delivery model.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong communicator with the ability to understand people, build relationships, and gain trust.
  • Demonstrated empathy and the ability to relate to team members and stakeholders.
  • Certified Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master; certification in SAFe Agile Practitioner Framework is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching Agile teams, with a deep understanding of Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and facilitation skills, capable of guiding teams towards common goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of removing impediments and driving continuous improvement.
