The Role

Imperial Brands is an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees who are looking for a Treasury Operations Specialist to join the newly formed team in Krakow.

The successful candidate will have previous Operational Treasury experience and a suitable mindset for a dynamic environment and able to work under their own initiative to lead tasks, whilst being able to work well as a team.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Execution of daily cash positioning and liquidity management, including the short-term liquidity position and daily cash postings. 
  • Building, owning and understanding the 12-month daily liquidity/cash flow forecasting, working closely with the market and other finance teams to ensure a robust forecast and be able to account for variances. 
  • Perform/release of manual payments and payment runs, confirming with banks and following up as necessary and proactive resolution of banking queries, mandates, user access issues
  • Developing and optimising the capabilities of TO processes through continuous improvement to drive improvements in operations, automation and enhance process efficiency
  • Training and reviewing output/delivery of FSS and Analysts/Specialists in the team and helping the TO Manager/Senior Specialists in supporting their development
  • Resolving ad hoc queries in a timely manner and work collaboratively across delivery towers
  • Maintaining good relationships with banks, third parties and the market

Skills and Experience Required

  • Fluent in English
  • 3+ years of experience in Treasury Operations or accounting in an international environment - preferably in Treasury
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and consistently delivering high quality work
  • Good organisation skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work and thrive in fast paced environment
