The Role

We have a great opportunity to join us here at Imperial Brands as a QA Specialist for our factory in Joure, Netherlands.

This is a multifaceted role responsible for conducting efficient and consistent sampling, testing and inspection of products and materials, using basic technical expertise to conduct analysis according to Quality standards. Principle Accountabilities

• Optimising packaging processes related to the handling of packaging materials and achieving cost savings.
• Conducting, evaluating, and documenting run-ability tests in collaboration with engineering and production when there are material changes or newly introduced products.
• Determining and/or advising on feasibility, workability, flexibility, and costs.
• Control of technical artwork and handling packaging material complaints and consumer complaints.
• Providing analytical support to production team leaders in identifying causes and promoting quality awareness.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong communicator with the ability to understand people, build relationships, and gain trust.
• Ability to effectively determine goals and priorities and indicate the necessary time, actions, and resources to achieve specific objectives.
• HBO Degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data to identify patterns and recommend solutions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Fluent in both English and Dutch.
