The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forecasting & Pricing Analyst to join our team in Vienna. This role is essential in partnering with stakeholders from Finance, Insights, and Supply Chain to forecast size and share, ensuring market demand is met. You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of a competitive and profitable Revenue Growth Management (RGM) plan.

Principle Accountabilities

Forecasting & Demand Planning:

• Develop and implement forecasting models to guide size development across categories and share expectations on sell-through and sell-out perspectives.
• Conduct sell-through analysis and scenario modelling.
• Provide local demand drivers (e.g., market size & share projections, uplift from launches & promotions) and align these with key stakeholders via the S&OP process.
• Analyse market trends and macro-economic effects to predict market size shifts and trends, staying ahead of emerging opportunities.
• Regularly update the market profit pool.
• Lead business case creation and commercial reviews with timely size and share data, collaborating with Finance and Insights teams.
• Ensure consistent data availability by working closely with the Insights Manager during business planning, stage-gate reviews, and other commercial meetings.

Pricing:

• Act as the pricing expert to drive business impact at the market level, delivering competitive and strong plans to grow Net Revenue/000 delivery.
• Lead the development of Price/Mix growth opportunities across categories.
• Provide relevant pricing input to the GSC Hub, local Insights and Finance teams, Market Manager, and colleagues within the RGM community.
• Deliver an annual MPI (manufacturer price increase) calendar to support Net Revenue and Gross Margin targets.
• Conduct regular pricing reviews to identify potential revenue upsides, manage excise positions, and set guardrails on channel/customer pricing, promotions, trade terms, and mix execution.
• Support the Insights Manager and CLA Manager in developing excise proposals for upcoming tax models.
• Conduct Pack Price Architecture white space analytics and recommend new pack launches.
• Monitor consumer and net price realization by SKU/channel/account.
• Analyse current mix performance, identify mix opportunities, prioritize SKU mix based on profitability-potential analytics, help set SKU mix allocation, and track execution.
• Set optimal brand/portfolio pricing based on elasticities.
• Support the innovation agenda with RGM market insights on pricing, positioning, and white spaces.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in delivering forecasts, demand plans, and pricing scenarios.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills, capable of influencing stakeholders up to MLT level.
• Forensic knowledge of data research and analytical techniques.
• Highly collaborative with a focus on coordination and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Up to date with the latest market trends and constantly challenging the status quo on pricing opportunities, portfolio initiatives, and consumer needs.
• Previous experience in demand planning and knowledge of tax models is desirable.
• Experience in price pack architecture or revenue growth management analysis is a plus.
