The role

To manage the execution and implementation of all Trade Marketing initiatives including in-store promotions, activations and shop staff training to achieve return on investment, volume, switch and share objectives for both Combustibles & NGP.  

Key accountabilities

• Coordinate, execute and evaluate all trade marketing campaigns, including brand ambassador activations, promotions, brand activations, product launches, and shop staff training.
• Work closely with TR domestic Markets, GT&R Trade Marketing Planning team, Sales, Consumer Marketing, and I&I teams to ensure cohesive and effective plans. The role will also provide input into the cycle plan, owned and created by the trade planning teams.
• Day to day management of Global Staffing Agency to deliver on all agreed initiatives, KPI’s coupled with the ability to constructively challenge where necessary
• Support agency in recruitment, interviewing and selection of all feet on the ground (FOTG)
• Develop & maintain a toolkit of best practice training materials for all FOTG trainings and Supervisor workshops, ensuring agency compliance
• Assist with development, coaching and trainings of all feet on the ground (FOTG - incl. Brand Ambassadors, Supervisors, and agency/ shop staff) based on defined toolkit
• Manage, optimise and deliver all trade promotions to a positive ROI ensuring feedback and measurement is delivered to all key stakeholders.
• Manage the GWP (Gift with purchase) ordering process ensuring best price and all key learnings from previous years are implemented.
• Manage all internal activation budgets, ensuring they are all kept up to date with regular review of spend including creating and managing agency payment schedules, ensuring correct IO codes are used on all PO’s, record keeping of all spend per IO 

Skills & experience

• Fluent in English & Spanish
• Marketing and portfolio management experience gained in a FMCG company preferably in the Tobacco industry
• Microsoft Office advanced skills including Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver against tight deadlines
• Very strong organisational skills & able to operate in a dynamic environment (project management experience desirable) whilst multi-tasking
• Willing to travel within Europe
