Integrated Supply Planner - Woolworths

The Role

An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees, this role reports to the National Business Manager - a great coach to learn from. Twelve months fixed term, Bella vista based, hybrid role based: 

  • Two days - on-site at Woolworths head office in Norwest, Sydney
  • One day based at Imperial Brands head office in Norwest, Sydney, opportunity to
  • Work from home for the remaining Two days.

This is a critical partnering role between Imperial Brands and retailer i.e. Woolworths to, take charge of replenishment activities.

develop robust replenishment plan to be used by IBA to execute various events and activities, through analysing stock requirement and manage deadlines in relation to IBA’s and retailer’s network capabilities.

Principle Accountabilities

Core role: Perform replenishment planning activity, identify, evaluate, develop customer stock levels and take ownership of stock requirement/s through stock analysis. Ensure service levels are optimised and joint business KPI’s are met. Validate logistics and commercial operations are on track. Optimise inventory levels and focusing on delivering positive service outcome. Safeguard step by step actions have clear assigned owners and timelines.

Stakeholder Management: Work in conjunction with key stakeholders to align expectations on replenishment plan. You will be comfortable networking with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders and will build and sustain key working relationships. Prepare for end-to-end execution of all replenishment activity / plans. Manage all commercial plans and ensure these are achievable within agreed timelines. At IBA: establish strong working relationships with the Supply Chain team, National Accounts-Sales team. Manage and drive work collaboration with the category, brand and the extended sales team. On site: Partner with Woolworths Metro Commercial & Supply Chain Teams and Linfox.

Continuous improvement: Determine incremental gains for creating efficiencies to product flow & on shelf availability. Facilitate supplier collaboration meetings with stakeholders and drive meeting outcomes. Ensure a safe working environment and practice effective risk management.

Advocacy: Drive high performing expectations amongst stakeholders by representing the customer in all situations. Train and educate internal groups for increased awareness of retailer expectations. Highlight and communicate critical failures and the impacts. Provide solution and guidance for improvement.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree in Supply Chain and / or Business related discipline.
  • Problem solving ability & commercial capability to understand the impact of decision making.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, Power-point is essential. 
  • Curiosity to question and the courage to answer. Passion, positivity and flexibility.
  • Work in a collaborative cross functional team environment
  • Deadline driven and maintain strong working relationships and influence outcomes
